Mom's throwing a hissy fit in a bid to bake her annual pineapple tarts and I'm simply too tired to be bothered.

I guess I really ought to be strong and not let circumstances or lousy feelings get the better of me. But empty is really how I feel right now.

It's day 47 of the year and I'm already beginning to lose perspective. Swimming/jogging's hardly helped, though going up and across Mt Faber felt like a serendipitous achievement.
